What a spectacular year we've had here at Grand Valley Taekwondo!
We had a great season with our competition team. We attended seminars and tournaments here in Colorado as well as Utah and New Mexico. Our team learned and gained great experience.
This year, we held our very first Black Belt Test. We had one candidate for 1st poom and one candidate for 3rd Dan. Mr. Chet and Ms. Kaisey worked very hard in the months leading up to their test. It was a privilege to have other masters visit and participate in the test.
In August we hosted the 3rd annual Grand Valley Games! We had competition in sparring, board breaking, weapons, and traditional forms for individuals and pairs. This year we held the event at Central High School. It went very well! We are hoping to add a couple more events next year.
We held three successful color belt tests this year. It is always a delight to see our students push themselves and take another step closer to Black Belt.
We are so grateful for all our students, families and friends! It has been a great year. We have many exciting plans for 2024 and we hope you'll join us for the next part of this awesome journey!
