This energetic class focuses on developing a strong foundation for our youngest martial artists. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate for this age group and will build core skills to help them succeed when they move into our older classes. While we always have lots of fun, parents will love seeing their children develop strong bodies and strong character.

YOUTH & ADULTS
Ages 8 through Adult
In these high-energy classes, you will get a great workout, learn the sport of Taekwondo, and develop practical skills for self defense. You can experience the many benefits associated with Taekwondo like stress relief, increased physical fitness, greater strength, more energy, better focus, and deeper personal character. We love it when families train all together!

CHILDREN
Ages 5-7
Children in this program will develop a strong Taekwondo foundation that includes fitness, coordination, and strength appropriate for their age. The children love the kicking and punching, but parents love watching them learn respect, confidence, focus, discipline, and determination. This class will see the children transition smoothly into our traditional martial arts classes as they grow.

SPARRING PLUS
Required for Green Belts and Higher
Kyorugi (sparring) is a critical element of our taekwondo training. Through the practice of our Olympic sport, we develop reaction skills, timing, distance, and the ability to take a hit. We learn how to handle the mental and physical stress of someone attacking us while being able to respond effectively. These skills not only pertain to our sport; they are invaluable tools for self defense. Our students green belt and higher are required to attend one sparring class each week in addition to their traditional taekwondo classes. Beginning rank students are welcome to add sparring before reaching green belt.

Weapons
Learn the fun and challenging art of weapons! Our program includes bo staff, kamas, and nunchaku. We focus on both traditional skills geared for self defense and on fun, flashy skills designed for competitive weapons forms.
SPECIALTY CLASSES
Sport Poomsae
Learn the traditional Taekwondo poomsae, or forms, and prepare them for competition. Each movement has a purpose, a rhythm, and should be performed with power and accuracy. This class will provide the deep dive that will help make your poomsae amazing!
Advanced Sparring
Take your sport fighting to the next level. Invited athletes will work on more advanced sparring in order to prepare for Olympic sparring competitions.
Weapons

Leadership
By invitation only
Few are born natural leaders but fortunately these skills can be taught! Hone your abilities with lessons in public speaking, team building, conflict resolution, effective delegation, event management, and more. This class is designed for dedicated students age 10 through adult, and will give you practical tools for any leadership position.
Demo Team
Auditions seasonally
Our demonstration team performs at tournaments, belt testings, and other events and showcases the highlights of taekwondo: poomsae, self defense, weapons, advanced kicking, and board breaking. Being on the team is challenging and you will grow beyond the ordinary as the team creates something truly awesome to perform!
